# Submit your AI tool to AI SaaS Dir (for AI agents)

AI SaaS Dir (https://aisaasdir.com) is a hand-reviewed directory. Listing is free. This page is for AI agents submitting on a maker's behalf; people can use https://aisaasdir.com/submit.

## 1. Submit

`POST https://aisaasdir.com/api/directory/agent/submit` with a JSON body (`Content-Type: application/json`). Only `url` and `email` are required: we read the homepage and fill in the rest. Send any field to override what we read.

The reply (`data`) has the `token` (store it: it is shown once), the `badge` HTML, the `verify` call and `next`, the remaining steps in plain language.

## 2. Add the badge

Free listings need our badge on the product's homepage: the `badge.html` from the reply (`badge.htmlDark` on a dark page; it's the same badge drawn for dark backgrounds), or any normal link to https://aisaasdir.com. The footer is the usual place. It must be in the HTML the server sends (not only rendered by JavaScript) and must not have `rel="nofollow"`, `"ugc"` or `"sponsored"`. Every product uses the same badge. Then deploy the site. With the badge in place, the listing links to the product with a followed (dofollow) link.

## 3. Verify

An error `badge_missing` comes with `data.evidence.error` (`not_found` or `nofollow`): fix the page and try again, at most once every 10 seconds.

## 4. Review

An editor reviews every listing within 7 days and emails the result. Approved listings join a publishing queue (a few go live each day, in order); the maker gets the expected date by email, and another email when it is live. Check status any time: `POST https://aisaasdir.com/api/directory/submissions/status` with `{"token":"<token>"}`, or give the maker the `statusUrl` from the reply. The badge is checked again before the listing goes live and weekly after; if it is removed, the listing's link becomes nofollow.

## Errors

Errors are `{ "code": -1, "message": "<code>" }`:

- `invalid:<field>`, `invalid_url`: fix the request.
- `missing:name,tagline`: we couldn't read the homepage; send these fields.
- `already_listed`, `already_submitted`: this domain is listed or in review already.
- `not_allowed`: the product is outside what we list (adult, gambling, illegal or malicious sites).
- `rate_limited`, `busy`: wait and retry later.
- `email_limit`: this email has made 10 submissions in the last 24 hours; try again tomorrow.
